INITIAL LACTATION CONSULTATION

$300 | 90 minutes | Telehealth Consultations or Home Visits from Byron Bay - Gold Coast

(Travel calculated at 0.98c per km round trip from South Golden Beach)

What's included:

  • Full feeding & growth assessment

  • Latch and positioning support

  • Assessment of milk transfer and baby's feeding behaviour

  • Discussion of any concerns (supply, pain, sleep, crying)

  • Written summary with personalised recommendations

Common reasons mothers book:

  • Preparation for breastfeeding

  • Difficulty with latch or positioning

  • Nipple pain or damage

  • Concerns about milk supply

  • Baby unsettled at the breast or after feeds

  • Questions about feeding frequency or duration

  • Returning to work and maintaining supply

  • Weaning support

What Happens in a Session

Before we meet:
You'll receive a brief intake form (10 minutes to complete) so I understand your situation before we start.

During the session:

  • I'll ask about your feeding experience so far

  • I'll observe a full breastfeed from start to finish

  • We'll discuss any concerns or questions you have

  • I'll assess latch, positioning, and milk transfer

  • I'll provide support and education

  • We'll create a plan together based on your goals

After the session:

  • You'll receive a written summary within 24 hours

  • We'll discuss whether follow-up is needed
