The Prepared Mother Method

Investing in postpartum support can prevent adversity & set you & your baby up for the best start possible

I’m Arnikka

Neonatal Nurse, Lactation Consultant IBCLC, Mother of Two

I teach the fourth trimester preparation that families deserve and rarely receive.

Two women smiling and holding a newborn baby in front of pink wooden background, one woman has long blonde hair and the other has long brown hair.

I've supported thousands of families in the early days and weeks of the fourth trimester, and I am always asked this question :

"Why didn't anyone tell me it would be like this?"

I've watched too many mothers struggle, not because they weren't capable, but because they weren't prepared for the reality of newborn motherhood.

The research is clear: when mothers are prepared prenatally, postpartum outcomes improve. Anxiety decreases. Depression risk drops.

That's why I built The Prepared Mother Method. Not to guarantee you won't have hard days. But to give you the knowledge and tools to navigate them feeling informed and confident.

I teach families

  • The language of newborns

  • Breastfeeding and bottle feeding foundations

  • How to care for yourself and navigate sleep (both yours and babys)

  • How to make confident informed decisions so you can thrive after birth.

  • How to co-parent with your partner from day one.

If you’re pregnant and want to be prepared, or are in the fourth trimester looking for support - I would love to help you.

Become a Prepared Mother

You've spent months preparing for birth. One Day.

But how are you preparing for what happens next?

  • The moment you meet your baby and wonder if they're feeding right.

  • When cluster feeding hits on night two and you think you're failing because you never learned whats normal.

  • When your partner asks "what can I do?" and you don't know how to answer.

These are the moments that matter.

And you deserve to walk into them feeling prepared, informed and confident.

The fourth trimester is 90 days.

Lets prepare you.
